Saturday Recap (pt.2): Republic of Letter @ Casbah

After Illinois played, it was time for Republic of Letters. It was their CD Release show and by the time they got onstage, the venue was packed. People were there that I would have expected to be at Coachella. There was something that made me so proud of my friends onstage. A guy who had asked me if the bands that night were any good was dancing his ass off while they played as were lots of other people in the crowd.









During the 3rd to last song Chris and Adrian bumped guitars and went out of tune, so they struggled through one song, but it was actually kinda cool to watch them recover and the crowd support them anyway. I think the band is great, Chris is taking a real lead as a frontman, and by the crowd filled in the Casbah, I know other people feel the same.
